The instructor-led program combines lecture, hands-on labs, and real-world exercises to build skills in email threat investigation, URL and attachment analysis, policy tuning, threat intelligence interpretation, and automated response workflows. Ideal for SOC analysts, email security engineers, and incident responders who need practical experience with Proofpoint products and modern threat protection techniques.
Basic IT literacy (working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and common internet protocols).
Familiarity with cybersecurity fundamentals (IDS/IPS, malware basics, phishing).
Prior SOC or security operations exposure recommended (helpful but not mandatory).
Laptop with modern browser and ability to access remote lab environment (provided during the course).
